The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need a link to the blog you’re talking about, starting with http. The answer depends on the blog.

http://jericajritchie.wordpress.com
that is my blog. Im wonding if I can only make one post on each page or if I can make any post I make go to a certain page. is what the categories are for?? how does that work?? -
You want to use Categories for that. Then use a Custom Menu in your header so that you can list the category page. Like on my blog, I could put http://raincoaster.com/category/wikileaks in the header and all the posts on that tab would be my Wikileaks posts.
Also, see this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

I am having the same problem. I understand, from reading it, that you can only add about ten updates to the categories, yes? I want to be able to update it everyday…unlimited amounts. http://vicky1clicker1tr.wordpress.com/clicker-training-road-trip/
I found out that you had to click on ‘new post’ I did that, and it did go to the top of the page…but it went to the WRONG page. How can I make it go to the page I want?
Thank you

So I need to make a category for each page that I have there in my menu on my blog and if I put a post in that category it will go to that page? Im going to go play …..
-
Yes, thank you, I did read it. I read, ‘Posts’ and went to the ‘Road Trip’ page, clicked on ‘New post’, to put it there, but it jumped over to the ‘about me’ page. Any idea why? Can I change this effect?
Thank you

Just write Posts. Put them in appropriate Categories. Then put a link to that category page in your header using a Custom Menu.

Here is the link:

pages and posts are very different animals. If you tame categories, they will not bite. -

So there is no way of putting the categories that Ive made into my menu in a certain order correct?
If I have a page with static info on it, is there a way that I can then add a button/link that would move the reader to a category with a list of posts that are advised reads after reading the page??
Im clear as mud huh ;) -
Much more clear than mud I say!
If you make a custom menu then you can put category pages into your navigation. And also you can add your static pages to the menu navigation.
Also there is a menu widget if you don’t want everything in top navigation.
Support documentation about making custom menus:

Yes. Drop the idea of Pages altogether and just follow the instructions for categories and custom menus and you’ll see it will all work out.
