Post to different pages

I want to set up my wordpress so that when I post different types of post they will be organized under a specific page. Ex. something about family be under the “Family” tab and ministry post under “ministry” tab. Is this possible and how do I do this?

Hey there!
This is possible if you use Categories and Category Pages.
You would begin, for example, by creating a Category called “Family.” Here are instructions about setting up that Category:

After you create your Category and add posts to it, you will add a Category tab called, “Family,” to your menu. You can learn more about creating custom menu items here:
A heads up: If you haven’t yet assigned any Posts to a Category, it will not display as an option to add to your menu. You must have at least one Post that falls under the Family category in order to have “Family” displayed in your menu.
You are welcome to add Posts to more than one Category. These posts will display under any/all category pages to which they’re assigned.
You do NOT have to create a separate page called Family.
