Post to separate pages and create a blogroll

  Hi
  Can you tell me how to post on individual pages, i.e. how do I stop posts from automatically going on the home page?
  Also, just can’t figure out how to set up a blogroll and insert links – have read all the help topics.

  Hi there,

  The best way to post to individual pages as you’ve described is to actually continue to just write posts, but to categorize them. Then you can create menu items which point directly to those categories, so that the posts for each of those categories are listed as if they had been set on a particular page.

  Then if you don’t want to have all of your posts showing up on the home page, you can set a static front page by following the directions laid out here:

  Finally, you can create a blogroll of links by logging in to your Dashboard and going to Appearance >> Widgets and activating the Links widget. Then again in your Dashboard go to the Links page on the left side of the screen and add as many links as you’d like!
