post truncating on the home page

  I switched my theme to oxygen, and my homepage truncates my posts too soon. I used the “more” tag to custom truncate the post, but the post on the homepage gets truncated after just a few lines. Also, the preview for each post doesn’t honor the paragraph stops. Is there a way to fix this?

  Auto excerpts display a fixed number of words. The more tag cannot override this: it will work only if you use it before the default word limit.
  Also, all HTML is stripped from auto excerpts (so no paragraph breaks, no bold or italics, no links etc).
  To override both of these issues you need to create custom excerpts, by adding content (including coding) in the Excerpt module of the post editor. If you’re not seeing the Excerpt module while on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.
