  Either use YouTube to upload your blog and follow these instructions:

  Do I need to install VideoPress if I host in my own domain? That is, can I upload videos and insert them into a post just like I do with photographs. I have tried that but it did not work properly. Please help.

  If your blog is hosted somewhere other than WordPress.com, the rules about video uploading are set by that other host. If you are having problems, and suspect them to be WordPress-related, then the appropriate forum would be the one at WordPress.org.

  The domain upgrade only applies to the domain name; it doesn’t change any other aspect of the WP.com experience.
