post visibility
-
Hi. I was wondering if there is a setting for how many of my blog posts show. For example, I think you can scroll down now and see everything I’ve ever posted. What if I only wanted the last 10 blog posts to be visible? Is that possible? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading
scroll down to:
Blog pages show at most posts
enter your number
Then scroll again to disable this setting:
To infinity and beyond ___Scroll Infinitely
(Shows 7 posts on each load)
Then click “save changes” -
Thanks so much for your response!!!
I realized though that I wasn’t completely clear. Is it possible to not have them show at all. In other words, if I want the ones that are older than 2 months to disappear, can I make that happen? To be completely gone…
THANKS :) -
You can delete them, otherwise there’s an arrow at the bottom of your page that will carry people over to those posts. And Google can find them.

Thanks for your responses!
If either of you can tell me how to make some of my blogs private, that would be great.
I prefer not to delete them because I can then use them for reference, but I would prefer my students to only see the last 10.
Any way to make this happen would be great. And any help I can get would be even better…I am so lost!
Thank you! -
You go to the Dashboard posts page, select the posts you want, and set them to Private there via the Quick Edit feature.
