Post without the post going to the frontpage?

  Is there a way (without altering timestamp) to submit a post without posting it to the main page?

  I know I could create a page, but I would rather create some posts but not have them on the front page.

  No, all new posts will go to the main page unless you back date them.

  Or unless you set a static page as your front, without also setting a posts page. (But this isn’t good for Google.)

  Since the blogger has posts dating back to July of 2006, a static page with no blog page isn’t really an option unless the blogger doesn’t want visitors to be able to see ANY of the posts. The blogger want SOME posts not to show up on the front page.
