Postal Code invalid
-
I am trying to check out with my domain name. I live in Lebanon, and we don’t really have a postal code system. I usually put a filler code and it works, but I am receiving an error on all variations of Postal Code, and I am unable to checkout. I tried to change the code to everything else. I’d rather not add a fake address. What can I do to fix this?

Hi @khassenews, sorry it’s giving you trouble. Are you buying a plan with the domain, and if so can you buy the plan first so we can try sorting out the domain issue on this end?
If you are not buying a plan, please try one of the postal codes listed here:
And if that still doesn’t work, update us here and we’ll reach out to get the address privately so we can try to work this out.

Thanks for your help! I’m not buying a plan, just the $18 domain. Tried this but still no luck

Hi there,
Our system expects a code containing four digits, followed by a hyphen or a space, and another four digits for the post code.
It seems that country indeed has a post code system, even if it might not be in general use:
I’m not buying a plan, just the $18 domain.
Keep in mind that a plan is required to set the domain as primary on your site. In other words, without a plan, the domain will just redirect people to your free WordPress.com address, bu the domain won’t be visible in their browser.
