  Hello,

  I am in the process of rebuilding my company’s website in WordPress.

  Currently we have a postcode checker on our existing website which directs people to our ecom site based on the info they enter.

  Does anyone know of a plugin that already exists for this? Pretty much what I want to be able to do is ask a user to input their postcode and then send them to the ecom site if they are in our service area.

  Hello,

  That would be amazing. Current site is http://www.spaceways.co.uk

  If you go to https://www.spaceways.co.uk/box-selection/ the postcode checker is there. Something such as GU14 6LW will work, but something such as WY137BJ wont work as its outside our service area

  It sounds like you may be building your WordPress site to be hosted elsewhere, not here at WordPress.com.

  The good news is that because you use the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:

  https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

  The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these things and are in a better position to advise on a solution, depending on what you’re using for your e-commerce solution.

  Thanks for clarifying, it looks like both the one you’re working to replace, and the site you’re doing testing on are both not hosted here with us on WordPress.com; they seem to be using the WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org instead.
