posted comment delayed

My comment to another person’s wordpress blog was delayed by a day. Why?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The other person may have comment moderation and did not get your comment approved right away.

Is that how the date was posted on her blog a day later than when I posted? This is a matter of a grade for a college class.

It should show the date and time of when you submitted it. Could you give a link to where your comment was posted? This will help staff pinpoint the issue. I have tagged this so they can look into the problem.

The date shown says February 17, but I know that I posted it on February 16. It does not show the time.
Thank you so much for your help.

If she’s in another country, or has her time on her blog set to another country, then this could be the result.

Hi there!
It looks like your comment was posted just a few minutes after midnight, so the early morning of February 17.
Like raincoaster explained, this is related to time zone changes. The blog you linked to is set to UTC or GMT +0 while you live in EST or GMT -5. So when the blog reports that something happened at 00:03 on February 17, it would have happened five hours earlier at 7:03pm in your time zone.
You can see the time comparison here:

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
