Posted irrelevant thumbnail photo to my Facebook page
-
This has never happened before, but it did today. I wrote a story about bears with my photos, including a few URL photos. But when the story posted to my facebook account, there was a photo of a garden, taken from my media library yet that photo obviously was NOT one of the ones in my post. What happened? How can I remove it from my facebook page and have an appropriate photo from the post be there?

That has happened to me to.
“Publicize”, note that we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. But, something went wrong because ‘facebook’ did not choose from my post, but from my image library randomly. I’ve never experienced this in 8 years of blogging and do not want it to happen again. The image was of a garden in northern CA from around 2008. The post was about grizzly bears with current images.
