“Posted On” “Filed Under” and post volume

How can I show a post while hiding the date it was posted on, who posted it, and the categories its filed under? While displaying a number of posts under a category, is there a way to control how much of the post appears?

We really cannot give the proper answers if we cannot see the blog in question.
Re your second question:
If you don’t want complete posts to show when you view a category page, you must choose one of the themes that display post beginnings or only titles. See here:
If you want to literally control how much is shown, you need one of the themes that allow the so-called post “excerpt” for category pages only. See here (second group of themes):
Re your first question: Is it related to the first? That is, do you mean hiding them by not showing the complete post (if you’re talking about a theme where they display at the bottom of the post), or hiding them for good (when you view complete posts)?

And are you talking about one particular post or all posts? Also, why do you want to hide the date etc.?
