Posted Post now Missing off Blog

I have been blogging with Word Press for nearly a year now. Lately, I have been having problems with the Save Draft or Preview. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t, and when it doesn’t and locks up, I have to back out of my draft, then come back only to see none of the changes I have made are saved. I did a very long post with about 60 photos on August 14 only to have 4 people view it and now it is no longer listed in my All Posts or on my blog when choosing Read Blog. The only place I can find it is if I do a search by the exact title or click on the title listed under my daily stats as having 4 views. My daughter made a comment on it, but now when she tries to pull up that post it does not exist. It is not in my trash. The support team seems to be out today so is there any help to ressurrect this post. It is called Fun Time Summer Time with the Ones I Love. Thank you. Mary

You are using a full page layout and there is no search box or any helpful navigational widgets like Recent Posts. I’m logged into Woirdpress.com and I used the searchbox on the top navigation bar to locate the post. I know it can be found by a search, but why doesn’t it show up as the last post done? I don’t even have it listed under ALL POSTS. I can open it through a comment I received on it just this morning so I made an edit then Updated it just to see if it would land back on my front page again — it doesn’t. The counts on the views haven’t changed since early this morning so I know it’s not showing up.

The date appearing is July 07 and not August 08. Edit the post and change the datestamp in the Publish module.

Timethief, I can’t thank you enough. How and why the date got changed is beyond me, but I have made the corrections and got the moon back on it’s axis thanks to you. Have a wonderful day of helping people and making them happy! Mary
