Posterous file error "The file is not an XML file"

  Trying to import my Posterous blog. Keep getting error that “The file is not an XML file”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot upload a zip file. Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-posterous/ you’ll need to upload the wordpress_export_1.xml file, not the one you tried to import.   thanks for you reply, but it unfortunately doesn’t help my situation as it relates more to unzipping the file. I have unzipped the file and have 2 .xml files – head.xml and wordpress_export_1.xml. I’ve tried importing the wordpress file but keep getting the error “The file is not an XML file”. I’ve opened the file and it looks ok to me. As this didn’t work I tried the head.xml file as well without success.
