Posterous Import

  Hi there,

  I’m having problems with a few blogs that I need to import from posterous.

  I’ve got the email to say import has been completed, though the wordpress page itself says Processing…

  but anyway, nothing has been imported, I’ve tried several times and have followed instructions…

  please advise, thanks.

  To make sure I understand where you’re getting stuck, you were able to complete the “Assign Authors” part and finish uploading your converted .xml file, but no content imports after that, is that right?

  Because you mentioned you’re having trouble with a few separate blogs, could you please reply back with a list of the blog addresses where you’re having the trouble so there’s a record of that?

  Pages are not included in Posterous imports. About how many posts were you expecting in each of your imports? And approx how large is each .xml file?

  Hi,
  everytime I try to import it says it failed to import the author, but I am able to proceed with the rest?

  I’m sorry there were only two…
  I wanted to import 4, but stopped at 2, because it wasn’t working…

  the other is http://shoknows.wordpress.com/
  this xml file is about 3.8MB..

  Could you package up the Posterous exports and send them to me? I will email you instructions for how to send the files.
