Posterous import

I’m trying to import my posterous blog but it’s not working. I have a Posterous export file with all my posts. First of all the documentation (http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-posterous/) describes a different process than that on the Posterous import page. There I was prompted to fill in my Posterous user name and password contrary to uploading a xml file. It’s been processing for 2 days now.
I’ve already tried importing the wordpress xml file via the wordpress import. Although I got a notification that the import was succesfull, I can’t see any of my posts anywhere. I’d appreciate some help.Thanks

We were having issues with the importer and temporarily disabled it, but then we activated it again. I’m not sure what the status is now for the xml importer, so I’ll check on that for you.

It has worked :-)
Now I only have to manually upload media files as indicated in the documentation. But that shouldn’t be a problem I guess.Thanks for the quick action. Really appreciate it!
