Posterous import .. Help !!

  WordPress can’t read the wordpress_export_1.xml file when I tried to import from Posterous

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes I have .. I have the XML file. But WordPress generates the below:

  Sorry, there has been an error.
  The file is not an XML file.

  That means you are trying to upload a .zip file rather than an xml file.

  It is the XML file … wordpress_export_1.
  I checked and saw the many members had the same problem previously.

  For some reason your import file was being appended with “.txt”, which is why the imports have been failing for you.

  I was able to recover and rename the file with the proper “.xml” extension and was able to import your content for you.
