  i currently use MSWord to write my posts because it is much easier to format everything I want it to, and it works great! Here is the issue I am having.

  After a year, I finally decided to upgrade from my jimmyfjames.wordpress.com free domain to my own domain and now Word cannot connect to post. I installed WordPress 3.3.1 and everything seems the exact same, but when i enter the info it states it cannot connect. Anyone else have this issue? i am using the directory where my xmlrpc.php file is located but it still isnt working.

  You need to understand that there are different kinds of WordPress, and because you have moved from .com to .org, then I’m sure you do but here are some details:

  Now that you are self-hosted, we cannot help you on wp.com forums. Here is where you should be looking for assistance:
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  The platforms are completely different and answers here won’t necessarily apply to your situation.
