  I’ve scheduled some posts and lately this is always coming when writing it. ‘Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.’
  It does seem to schedule. At least it says so.

  Hi there, just to check – was this for http://ladyquotes.wordpress.com/ ?

  Does this happen specifically when you’re writing blog posts, or does it also occur if you’re working on pages?

  Yes it is and it’s on posts. I rarely use pages.

  Usually when an issue like this occurs, it can be traced to an expired (or broken) login auth cookie stored on your local web browser. It looks like you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser, so with this in mind I would like you to try the following

  • Clear your cache and cookies based on the steps Firefox recommends here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
  • Also make sure you are not blocking any “3rd party cookies” as explained in that guide as well: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-cookies-are-blocked-unblock-them#w_check-sites-that-are-blocked-from-setting-cookies
  • If you continue to have loading issues after completing those steps, I would like you to try another browser instead, like Chrome. Are you able to proceed if you use a browser other than Firefox?
