  My most recent post shows up on the sidebar under posts but not on the home page of my blog. Previous posts have. ????

  The top two posts showing on your main blog page are set as sticky posts. If “Book Recommendation” is the latest post you are talking about, it is showing below the 2 sticky posts you have set.

  If you do not want those posts as sticky posts, you need to open the sticky posts in the post editor and under “visibility” unstick them.

  guess i should have read what “sticky” meant before i chose it… it sounded good :)

  You’re welcome, and you are not the only one to get caught by that. Many have.
