  How do you post? Like, anything? I really shouldn’t have to use the forum to find out but this is getting ridiculous. I don’t have a “publish” button just a publish section where I can alter the settings of publishing but not actually publish

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hope I’ve understood what you’re asking and am not stating the obvious here.

  You can write a new post from several different places. I think the easiest to describe: hover over “My Sites” top left in your admin bar. Click on the “add” button beside “Blog posts.” That opens a new post screen. Fill in title, text and set any of the options you want such as categories and tags. There’s a big Publish button bottom right.

  Other places to begin:
  – in the Dashboard, there’s an Add button by the Blog Posts item.
  – If you’re in the WP Admin Dashboard (in default colours, it’s the black/grey dashboard, not the new blue one) you can draft a new post from the landing page.
  – Or in WP Admin, hover over Posts in the left-hand menu. There’s another Add Post link there!

  And some other places as well, but that’s plenty to start with!

  Just realised I forgot the quickest one! The pencil icon on the left side of the toolbar at the top of your screen is a “New Post” button.
  There’s some very clear getting started tutorials at https://learn.wordpress.com/ . Look on the left menu for the one about creating posts, pages and menus (as well as reading the others of course!)
