Hi
I have been trying to upload and post photos but it doesn’t do anything. I tried many times and it just doesn’t do anything after I choose a picture to upload to the page.
Please help. -
Hi!
What is the site name that you are trying to post on?This a page you can use to help troubleshoot uploading images https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/uploading-images/
Here are instructions to clear your browser cache and cookies.https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
You can also try a different web browser, disable all web extensions or ad-ons. -

Were you able to clear your browser cache and cookies? https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
If you have any browser ad-ons or extensions, disable them, and then try to upload the photos again.
Is the issue getting the images into your media library, or going from your media library to the post/page? Are you getting any error messages?
-
Yes, the issue is getting the images into the media library, from my computer.
I am not getting an error message and it does nothing at all.I disabled extensions. It didn’t help either.

Hi Lizkarkoski,
I cleared cache and followed all the steps you have suggested. I try going back to check on any progress and I can’t get in at all now to post.
Unless this is just letting me know that someone is working on it or did I make it worst. :-( -
On WordPress.com your free plan is limited to 3GB of storage. See here https://wordpress.com/plans/compare
Here is another troubleshooting page for uploading images. Sorry, I forgot to include it in my original reply. https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/
I am tagging this thread ‘modlook’ for staff to help you further. They will contact you here. Please subscribe to the thread to receive notifications if you have not already.

If you go to your media library it will say “You are currently using X amount out of 3.0 GB” above where the images are displayed.

Thank you. You have been so helpful.
I only hope now that someone has the answer to my problem.
sincerely,
Eva -
I was able to upload an image to your library without issue.
Can you try using a different browser and let me know if you still encounter the problem?

Hi Rootjosh,
I tried again several times,
I tried refreshing, I tried everything that was suggested and still nothing.
I have noticed that format of posting has changed, would this have anything to do with it.
I even went to posting on other several apps and it works just fine. It is only here. I truly feel bummed about this. -

No. You could try changing browsers. You could also try disabling all browser extensions and add-ons.
In order to help you Staff need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through the list that follows and report your details back here.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm
(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily. Know also that security and firewall programs and programs that run incognito mode may need to be temporarily disabled as well.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
6. If you are not successful please provide this specific info:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
(c) Exactly what you experience including exactly what any error reports you receive state.
(d) Screenshots can be helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it. -
