  I have been attempting to publish a new post, but it says it is under review. No one else is in control of the account and I want to know how remove this under review setting.

  This situation sounds frustrating! I’d like to help today. A user talked about this issue in a previous forum. Take a look and try the steps, then let us know how they worked. If they don’t help, we’ll look at next steps to solve your issue.

  I checked that forum, but I don’t have the dashboard feature available to me. I only have the view site, stats, and add post functions on my screen. Do you know how I could retain my administrator status?

  Hi @cadelman, can you confirm which site you’re referring to you? You aren’t the owner on the site you linked, and the owner may have enabled a Pending Review option to keep from accidentally publishing the wrong things.

  This is the site link: http://globalprosperity.wordpress.com/. I am the actual owner, but my research assistant may have taken control of the blog. I have contacted them, but not heard anything. Is there a way I can regain control without them?

  Hi –

  The ownership of the site can be transferred to your @cadelman account but it has to be initiated from the account that owns the site, which is not yours.

  We aren’t able to give that information out.

  You can try to make contact through the Twitter feed listed on the site though as that is publicly available.

  If there were a contact page set up on the site you could try that as well but there isn’t one.
