Posting a link in a text widget

  Hello – I’m not very tech savvy, as you’ll see… How do I add a text widget with a URL in it? (Something like: “Click here to buy my book”) When I try to paste an Amazon URL it does not become clickable. Instead it shows up like this:

  Hi there therunningdutchman,

  To make it a clickable link you need to write some HTML code that would look something like:

  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Running-Dutchman-Confessions-Wanderer-ebook/dp/B00L4PM60M/ref=la_B00L1KW632_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1403306634&sr=1-2">Click here to buy my book</a>
