Posting a Live Google Maps Page
-
I’m trying to embed a map I created using google fusion tables in my wordpress
blog (theenergyharbinger.com). From wordpress’ instructions
(http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/) this seems pretty
straightforward, however I’m having difficulty. When I paste the embed
code into my text editor and publish it, the code disappears. Any
solutions? Ps: I’m not a developer.

Hi,
I’ll be happy to take a look. Can you copy and paste the code (inside backtick characters) with your reply to this forum thread so I can take a closer look, and include the draft post/page URL where you’re trying to add the code?

‘<iframe width=”500″ height=”300″ scrolling=”no” frameborder=”no” src=”https://www.google.com/fusiontables/embedviz?viz=MAP&q=select+col9+from+1-bTVYaIK9nWkRth0wDN_qTMRl1Hni0g2rbwv49Y&h=false&lat=47.77440623229448&lng=-99.23235709228514&z=7&t=1&l=col9&y=4&tmplt=-1″></iframe>’

Thanks, let me know if that works.

Thanks for your reply. I’m afraid the Google Fusion Tables embed code isn’t supported at this time (we don’t support allow iframe HTML code), but I’ll add it to our list of things to consider for future updates.
