A wordpress.COM username account is also a gravatar account. They are one in the same thing. You can have a single email address and gravatar for every username account. Gravatar support docs are at http://en.gravatar.com/support/
Please read: Why Does Gravatar Say I Already Have an Account? http://en.gravatar.com/support/existing-account/
Read also: Uploading Your First Profile Image
http://en.gravatar.com/support/activating-your-account/It looks like you did not create a gravatar for this username account as yet but there could just be a delay in display.
You need to upload a gravatar image in order for it to display next to your comments on gravatar enabled blogs.
Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with
the actual name of your blog in the URL
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
Do not keep uploading!
Do not forget to select an image rating.See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatar-hovercards/
