  How do I get rid of line numbers, Block system, things that weren’t there a few days ago!! I would lke to post and edit as I have been for SEVEN years.

  The Block editor has been introduced several years ago. It’s still possible to use the Classic editor – https://wordpress.com/support/classic-editor-guide/ – however this is not a good idea as the Classic editor will no longer be supported in a short time.
