posting buttons/badges

  I’m new to wordpress and would like to know how to paste my buttons/badges to my sidebar. thanks in advance for the help.

  Provided there is no java script involved and the code is only html then you can copy the code/text for the button image into a text widget and the buttons will then be displayed in your sidebar.

  My dumb: Just got the badge for NaNoWrimo. The code is

  Will I be able to use it? If so where and how?
