Posting calendar change?

In the last week or two I’ve noticed that the blue dots on the scheduling calendar that signify a post has been published or been scheduled for that date have disappeared. It’s only a small thing but I found it very useful. I am wondering why they vanished and if I can do something to get them back.

Hi there, it’s possible that this was due to the recent update to the WP software on all our sites. Likely it’s a temporary issue. Give it a day or two and if it still doesn’t shake out, please post back here.

I’m using iPadOS 21.6 and it is the same when I access via Safari or the Chrome app (143.0.7499.108) -

Thanks for reporting this! This is a known issue we’re tracking. The dots that show scheduled post dates on the calendar have disappeared due to a recent update in the Gutenberg plugin.
For now, you can click on the “NOW” option on the scheduling calendar and you should see all previous blue dots showing your scheduled posts.
We’ve reported this to our developers and are monitoring for a fix.

Thank you again for reporting this. I will close this thread as Solved, since we are aware of this issue, tracking it, and have provided a temporary workaround.

I was curious how the resolution to this issue is going? I hadn’t realized how helpful those little dots were to me until they vanished! lol
The workaround isn’t working on my end at all, unfortunately. -

I understand! We are awaiting a fix on the Gutenberg plugin, and as soon as we have any further updates or a confirmed timeline, we’ll let you know.
In the meantime, could you tell me how the workaround is not working for you? If you click on the “Now” button, is nothing happening there?

Once you click on “Now”, please try navigating to a different month in the calendar, and let me know if the dots appear for you. -

I just checked it again & this time the workaround worked fine. Last time there were no dots at all. Odd! Just glad it’s working at least!
