posting chronology

Can I change the order in which posts appear on my blog – in order to get to what the blog is focused on, readers have to scroll down the page, then up, to read later posts, surely the first post should be at the top and subsequent posts below – I’m new, and struggling a bit, so please be kind.

No, it goes in the order that you made them. The only thing you can change the order of are your pages.

Use “Read More” to break your Posts into shorter sections on the home page so visitors will not need to scroll down so far but can read the first paragraph or so and decide if they want to read the Post – or you can use the Recent Posts Widget on the Sidebar to show the title of you recent Posts.
