  I believe there are currently 2 different mechanisms to write with – the old one and a new one. I like the old one better, but can’t seem to find it. Help.

  Thanks Sarah – but when I click your link it works, but how do I get there from the default (new) format that automatically comes up? This sounds so stupid, sorry.

  Hi again,

  There’s no need to feel silly. =) The reason you can’t find the button from the new format to the old one is because there isn’t one. WordPress.com removed the link to the old WP-Admin dashboard from the current dashboard; I suspect that it makes it simpler for newer users so they’re not accidentally switching back and forth all the time.

  If you bookmark or save that link above, you’ll be able to access the old version of your dashboard forevermore.
