posting from cellphones

  Hi, I am using the Prologue theme for this blog: http://colgateuniversity.wordpress.com/

  It seems that my fellow authors and I can’t post to the blog via cellphones unless we have a data plan-enabled phone? Is this right or am I missing a widget or a workaround? Our goal for this is to do several posts a day, and having a way to do this without having to sit at a computer is key.   Um, sorry – I didn’t see that they had included that in the FAQ you linked.

  That’s the only way that I am aware of at this time.

  Yes, of course you need a data plan enabled phone to post data. That is correct.

  twitter or tweetworks allows text messages to serve as posts, not requiring a data plan.

  Text messages require a dataplan, at least in my country.

  They don’t here. You can have them separate.
