posting from Google Docs, title is lost

I am trying to publish a document from Google Docs to a blog on WordPress.com.
The post comes through, but missing the title.

My blog settings in Google are as follows:
    – checked option “My own server / custom” (I also tried other option, for Hosted, but that didn’t work).
    – API: MovableType API (tried the others too)
    – URL: http://<blogname&gt;.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php
    – checked option “Include the document title when posting”.

I go to Share > Publish as web page > Post to blog

After a minute or two, I go to the blog front page, and CTRL-refresh.
The post appears, but with no title.

I have tried putting the title as the first line of blog post, in straight text or inside <h1> tags, or inside <title> tags. Did not work.

I realize I can go to WordPress.com and manually add titles to posts there, but my goal is to not need to use that interface.

I have also posted about this in Google Docs’ support forums, but I post here in case it may be a problem on WordPress.com side, or someone here knows a solution.

    any help is very welcome.
    thanks,
    Tim

Interesting, didn’t know Google Docs was supposedly working with wordpress.com, but I just tried quickly and it isn’t working for me. I will look into it in detail later, but you shouldn’t select any API or moveable type, the wordpress.com is available in the drop down list.
