Posting goal doesn't recognize scheduled posts

  The posting goal option doesn’t seem to recognize scheduled posts. Sometimes I’ll write up a few and schedule them to publish. Even though the post publishes, I still get an email saying reminding me to post. Does it only recognize manually published posts?

  I don’t know because I don’t activate that setting. What I do know is that scheduled posts do not publish until the first visitor to the site after the date and time scheduled click into the site and trigger publication.

  The posting goal is counting published posts. It’s entirely optional and is intended just to motivate people to keep generating new content.
