Posting Images

  I was just wondering how to post images in my blog. For some reason it just gives me a link to the picture, and not a real picture. How can I post real pictures?

  Ps. I upload images at ImageShack.us just incase that can help solve my problem.

  If they allow ‘hotlinking’, it would be as simple as adding the image using the editor and putting in the URL of the photo you are trying to upload, or add this to your post:

  <img src="http://yourimagelocation.com/image.jpg" />

  Whatever the image location actually is. Might be worth reading this FAQ as well on images.

  Wait, I should rephrase that. How do I add images to category or page?

  you can’t add images to a category, a category is a link to all your posts under that category. you can use the method mentioned above to put pictures in pages.

  OK, Thanks. I get what you guys are saying, but for some reason it won’t work for me. Do I just put the whole <img src=”http://yourimagelocation.com/image.jpg” /> and then my image link/hotlink, or do I replace “http://yourimagelocation.com/image.jpg” with my image link, or what? I’m congfused.

  look for icon no. 12, click on it in your own editor page and edit from there. you must insert your own image link.
