Posting images on the Home page

I set up a gallery page successfully, but now when I post new images, they appear on the home page in gallery format too. I have another blog with a gallery and don’t have this problem. On that site, each new post is displayed like as a post normally does, individually. How can I correct the problem with the new blog?

Hi there. Are you referring to the fact that the posts on your home page appear in a grid layout rather than underneath each other? If so, that’s how the Visual Theme works and has nothing to do with whether or not you have a gallery created elsewhere on the site. In fact, the Visual theme can’t display posts underneath each other. If you look at the theme’s support doc and demo page you’ll see the same: https://wordpress.com/themes/visual/

Hi – Yes, I finally figured it out after submitting the question. That’s what I get for not examining more thoroughly. But all’s well now, and I’m happy with the way it works and looks. Thanks for following up on this – appreciate it!
