Posting in categories and not in the main body of the blog

    Hello
    Could you tell me how to put a post in a category and not in the main body of the blog? I am posting portrait photographs, for which I have a dozen or so categories, but I would like to have a single final category – “Personal”, for non-portraits. Obviously I don’t want them to show up in the main section.

    Hi Alexander – You’ll want to use a Custom Menu to set up category pages. We have a full guide on how to do this here:
    Category Pages

    Whatever page is designated as your Posts page will show all of your posts, regardless, so if you don’t want that, you’ll could go to Settings->Reading and select a static front page and no page for your Posts page. Then, you can just assign categories to every post and they’ll show only on the relevant category pages.
