    Hi,

Create a custom menu, and use it to replace the default pages menu, as described in the Create a Custom Menu section of the Custom Menu support page. Then include links to your category pages, as described in the Add Menu Items section of that support page.

The Rowling theme has two header menu locations. If you want the custom menu to display in the same location as the present menu, then choose for it the location “Bottom Header Menu” at Customize > Menus > Menu Locations.

Doing as described above will not effect the homepage, which will continue to display all posts in reverse-chronological order.

The default pages menu presently displayed on your site may only include links to the blog page and static pages. It cannot include links to category pages. That’s why it must be replaced with a custom menu in order to include category pages among the items displayed.

An example of the difference between a static page and a category page:

“Movies” static page — https://fictionfandom.home.blog/movies/ — This page is presently empty and will only display content that you add to it in the page editor.

“Movies” category page — https://fictionfandom.home.blog/category/movies/ — This is a dynamic page that will automatically display all posts with the “Movies” category assigned to them.
