  when I go to write a new blog- the web browser shuts off automatically. theres a setting that needs to change for my browser to let me post because Ive done it before but Im back from the dead and I can’t find that option.

  browser version, OS and any security programs that you may be running as well please.

  When was the last time you updated your virus protection and ran a scan?

  just internet explorer. trend micro antivirus. there is some kind of virus we’ve been ignoring for a while that the antivirus can’t figure out. it screws with our connection sometimes. could that have an affect on being able to post? and if it does, why doesnt it affect any other site’s functions?

  Have you tried it with a different browser for reference? Say firefox or netscape? That way you could find out if it is just IE or another issue. What happens if you temporarly disable trend micro? Does that help?

  What’s the virus?

  May want to try a different virus protection as well. I usually recommend AVG as it’s free as well as it’s one of those services that constantly updates their files for new viruses and not just once a week like some of the other services.
