Posting Links

I have a question about posting links to my two blogs. How do I post links to my blog(s) and have the post it links to appear in the post I am making to my blog(s)??

Do I need a Premium WordPress account for use with my WordPress.com blogs? If I do need a Premium account, am I billed monthly or annually?

    Hi,

How do I post links to my blog(s) and have the post it links to appear in the post I am making to my blog(s)??

The question is rather confusing. What do you mean by “post links?” Do you want the title of a post to be a link to another post? Or do you want to include a link to another post in the content of a post? Or both?

Let me clarify. I’m looking for something different. Instead of pasting the title of the article and then adding a hyperlink to highlight the title. Instead of this, I want to post a link and have a graphical representation of the actual article appear on my blog page. Something like a web page inside a web page. I hope it clarifies.

I want to post a link and have a graphical representation of the actual article appear on my blog page. Something like a web page inside a web page.

See the Themes Supporting Post Formats support page for a list of such themes. Not all of them include the Link format option. Presuming that you’ve selected a theme which includes the Link post format, posting a link is no problem, though I hadn’t done it before and was surprised at how easy it was. In my tests, if a link is included in the content of the post, then the title of the post also links to the same link URL found in the link in the content.

The link I used in the content was an image link, so the result seems to be exactly what you have asked for, unless I’m misunderstanding. The title and the image in the post content both link to the same URL.

The only trick then is creating an image link. Do you need help with that? See the Image Links support page.

Do I need a Premium WordPress account for use with my WordPress.com blogs?

Are you asking whether you need Premium account in order to accomplish the double link idea you’ve described above? If I’ve understood correctly regarding your idea, then the answer is no.

By the way, please delete some or all of the following tags, which won’t be very useful:
    accounts
    billing
    blogs
    com
    differences
    premium
