  Is it possible to put Microsoft Word documents on my blog,
  without having to retype them.

  Just copy and paste it.
  If you are trying to put the whole file in doc format so that others can download, go to : write post-write the title and upload the file-send the file to editor and post it.

  When I copy and paste from Word, the spacing is all different and I have to manually go back and adjust it line by line.

  microsoft has developed their own unique html found in WORD which is stripped out by wordpress programming
