Posting multi-chapter stories … Which theme is best?
-
You have just one post published here:
https://wordpress.com/postsIf you’ll view that, you’ll see where that text is coming from. I’m guessing you made some filler content.
I’d recommend publishing a few posts, then getting rid of that one.
Speaking of posts…
I have tons of questions
Would you mind creating a separate post here for each major question? Right now we’ve moved on from the topic of this thread. Here’s a new post screen:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1Having individual posts with the gist of the questions in the titles helps others find answers to their questions more easily, and helps staff and community members because we don’t need to scroll through the history to figure out what’s currently going on: the question is just there in the title. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Jerry! When I look up my blog’s tag words (Rat Patrol) in Reader, the 6th blog down is mine. It says Story Index. Under that is Name of Story. In My Site, I show only one post, Story Index (the table of contents page) for my whole blog. The stories themselves, sometime consisting of more than one page, are designated pages. They are not posts.
That’s why I think they’re not showing up. I would change the story pages to posts if that wouldn’t mess up my chapters. Each chapter has its own page. Would I need to do that? Change all pages to posts? My goal is simply this: I want to show the names of my stories on the Reader search page.
If a reader likes a story and wants to come back to it, I want them to be able to search in Reader for it like any post.

This the link in Reader that shows Story Index (my one post) and Name of story under it. Thanks.

I’ll reply to your Reader question in the new thread you created at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/only-one-post/

I found this page was where Name of story is located. The page/post was of no use to me, as it went nowhere near my blog, so I deleted it. Now I have no representation on the Reader search page with the words Rat Patrol. I do not see my stories blog anywhere on the Reader search list. How can I get back on it with the genuine story index and story pages. My site is: storiesoftheratpatrol.wordpress.com.
I’m lost to know how my blog gets back on the Reader search page.
