Posting new pages

When I try to make a new page instead of it putting them were all my other pages are it puts it in the Welcome page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To create a new static page see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
You have two choices.
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page and posts on a different page.By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts.
To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

Front page:
Posts page: -
Technically you can’t post to more than one page on any blog but do read on. Static Pages and dynamic Category Pages are not the same. The former cannot automatically update but the latter do.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/If you want to have pages that do update then they must be replaced by dynamic category pages (and sub-category pages) that will automatically update every time you publish a post assigned to the relevant category and/or sub-category.
By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories and sub-categories pages into the custom menu, and order them as you wish.

The bottom line here is that posts do not display on any Welcome page unless you created a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and you failed to create the second page required for your posts to appear on.

Thank you so much. But I actually figured it out on my own right after I asked you that question.
Have a wonderful Year of 2015! -
Thank you so much for helping me although I figured it out on my own.
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year

I have another question…. I signed up for the Free Blog but I wanted to know if eventually we have to end up paying to keep it? Because If I do I need to change some stuff but first I need you to let me know.
Thanks so much!
Happy 2015! -

Oh Ok Thank You so much! Oh and you should probably wish me a Happy Birthday and get me a present because today is my Birthday!
Just Kidding you don’t have to do that. -
So can you still talk to me even if I don’t have any questions for you. Oh and can you please help me be able to talk with someone else instead of you? Please and Thanks!

I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

After a thread is tagged for Staff it is in your best interest to stop posting to it and wait patiently for Staff to respond. They work through threads chronologically and when you post gain the timestamp moves forward so your have to wait longer.
-
-
I don’t know how long it will take., There is a backlog. This thread has been tagged for Staff as stated above.
Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.
-
-
This thread and the other thread you posted are both in line waiting for Staff. Keep posting to them and you will be moving the timestamps forward making it even longer to get help.
-
It looks like between your own work and TimeThief’s help, all of the questions in this thread were answered.
If you have additional questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
