Posting not being Published

  Have tried to post to my account web site multiple times. WP says it has been published but it is not. 11 hrs since last post. What’s up?

  Still no publication on the original post. Posted another entry and the system said it was published. It too does not appear in the blog and has not been distributed to followers.

  Clarification: day 3 in Auckand was the last posting that was published. There have been 2 additional postings since then, WP said both were published but they weren’t. It’s been almost 20 hours since the 1st “published” entry has not appeared in the blog and has not been distributed to email followers.

  I have no idea why previous posts were declared published but never were. So my ugly solution was to delete all those posts (that were marked published but never were) and rewrite the same posts again, select ihem to be published again and, ta da, they ended up in the blog and email notifications were sent. WP works in mysterious ways. 😀
