Having trouble whilst drafting new posts on my blog. Set up has changed and now uses ‘blocks’ which I`m not able to understand how to use

You must have enabled new editor and it is simple to use once you get familiar with it.

Thank you for swift response. I will try to use new editor, but there appears to be no option on my dashboard to switch back to Classic editor as shown on link

When you are at your Post Editor, please click on 3 dots at upper right corner.
You will get drop down menu, at the end, you can find option as “Switch to Classic Editor”.

Sorry but it just doesn`t give me the option to “switch to classic editor” as previously said.
I copied and pasted the menu which drops down from the three dots in R/H/S corner<View

I just can`t get on with new editor and my enjoyment of posting is greatly reduced as I find it difficult to work with.
