Posting on One Page Only

Hello!
How can I post on a page on my blog and have it appear only there, and not on the main page? For instance, say I want to put a post on my About page and nowhere else. Can I do that? Thanks!

That is what a “page” is called here at wordpress.com. It is exactly what you are describing and available as a linked page, but doesn’t show up on the main page. That is populated with “posts”. Might be more clear if you check out page and a post! !
You make a page by going to your Admin => Manage => Create Page

Ok, I was just wondering if it was possible to post on one particular page and have the post appear on that page only. I guess not?

Ah, I see. So you want to have a post on a page? That is really what a page is. It is a URL like http://trentadams.com/about/ that only has information on it, but doesn’t show up as a post on the main page of http://trentadams.com. The information on that “about page” is only on that page and nothing else. I can edit the text of it though and add to it or not. Think of it as a ‘static’ page. Is that what you mean?
