Posting on Two Blogs

  Hey,

  I want to repost a couple things from one of my blogs to another. I’m still maintaining two separate blogs and I’m not deleting the original posts. However, it was pointed out to me that if I copy posts word for word with the same titles, this might confuse search engines. Any insights? Or any tips on ways I could avoid problems?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not necessarily confuse them, but at the very least the two posts will compete against each other in any searches that those posts would come up in. Both posts will end up down further in search results though.

  On the second site, I would suggest that perhaps you use just an excerpt from that other post and then have a link at the bottom to take them to the original post.

  Thank you guys very much for the advice and @airodyssey, thanks for the link, it was very informative.

  I’ll think about what to do. To be honest, I am not very concerned. It is really only a couple posts and I’m not overly worried about SEO right now, at least not every little minutia that might affect it.
