Posting page does not display properly.

I contacted WordPress support regarding this issue but have not heard back. When I am writing a post there is a large space between the title and the place to write the post. The place to write the post is only a few inches deep and makes it very difficult to see more than 5 or 6 lines that I have already typed.

Hi there. This is a known issue with the new editor. They’re working on fixing it, but no one knows when it will be fixed.
I suggest you rather use the classic editor at Posts ->Add New in the WP-Admin dashboard (http://ditchingthedog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/) in the meantime. See here for instructions on different ways to get to the classic editor: http://git.io/wpcom-restore-classic-ed

The layout problem with the new editor have also been fixed according to the last staff update, so try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if it’s working then: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
If you’re still having problems, please let us know exactly what browser and version you’re using (https://www.whatismybrowser.com/) as well as what type of device (PC, phone, tablet, Mac, etc.) you’re working on. Also give as much information as you can about exactly what’s going wrong. It will help a lot if you can include a screenshot of what you see.
