Posting Photos…

  Hi there,

  In the past, I was always able to upload and insert individual photos files which could be clicked on and enlarged from my main blog page. Something changed for me with the new Dashboard – I can’t seem to get the photos to link. They are permanent on my blog posts. As a viewer, I can’t click on them to link to the actual file and enlarge as in the past. I know I’m not explaining this very well, but if you go to my blog http://www.touristiko.wordpress.com and hover over the photos and scroll down about 7 posts, you can see when the ‘hand’ appears and the photo links to the actual photo file for a viewing enlargement when clicked on. How do I get back to the old days?! Thanks! Daniel

  Hi Daniel,
  To have a photo link to the larger version, click on the photo in your post while editing, then click the insert/edit link icon in the main editor toolbar. It should automatically fill in with the url of the full size photo. Then save.

  Great! Thanks. I got it to work. Frustrating that I have to do that for every photo, rather than the automatic way it used to be. Thank-you for the information!
