posting pictures

I’m having problems when publishing ……I choose a ‘feature’ picture to post on each blog. However when I publish my post, the feature picture does not appear on The Reader, or on my FB page. At one time I had completed a post on Israeli couscous, at the end, I chose a carousel of photos showing how I paired it with salmon….the salmon pics showed up as the main picture, yet the title read ‘Israeli couscous with roasted vegetables’.

We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

For me, I’ve noticed that the last image that is posted is the one used by Facebook for sharing. So post the image you want on Facebook to go last
